😡 pissed off

My two best friends have always hated my boyfriend (we have been dating for a year). My boyfriends a little quirky but you just have to get to know him and understand him. Last week I got really excited because my boyfriend bought me chocolate and socks because I said I was upset. He bought these from Aldi (there in Australia, don't know what the equivalent us store would be. But they are just a cheaper supermarket). I didn't care that he bought them from there because I know that is the only place he shops. I told one of my best friends and she was going on about how he bought them from Aldi. And who would buy socks as a gift. He knows I do a lot of hiking, and they were hiking socks. I thought this was a very sweet gift. But my friend just kept saying that I'm worth more than someone who shops at Aldi. I think my friend is being unreasonable. What is your opinion?
