How did you tell your mom/parents that you were sexually active?

I recently told my mom that I was sexually active because I thought that she should know that I'm 18 and I'm in a new chapter in my life, plus we're pretty close. It was a bit awkward but she was truthful and nice about it^^

My dad found out when I was 15 but he was the type of parent that didn't really care about it. My mom didn't know until just recently when I told her I was pregnant. Let's just say I acted like a sweet, innocent angel for a very long time... 😇😂

My dad kicked me out because of me losing my virginity at 18 to my boyfriend. He said I was loving too fast so I moved in with him and then I told my mom.

I told her I was thinking about it because I wanted to go on the pill and I wanted her opinion. Plus  I had been with my bf for a while and I knew that I loved him and wanted to take that step. She was supportive at first but then a few days later expressed that she wanted me to wait longer (not sure why). But once we actually started doing it I never told her. I assumed she figured we were and since I'm an adult (22) it didn't really matter too much.

My bestfriend who happens to be my mom asked me if I was sexually active & I came clean I told her not in the moment, but that I wasn't a virgin anymore. She's always been open with me. When I turned 18 I went with her to a sex shop looking for lube. I don't find it weird I find it awesome that I have this amazing close person who doesn't judge me but guides me toward the right decisions. 🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏽

When my mom picked me up and I got in the car, she just knew. It's Like she had a radar or something. When my bf and I broke up after a few months, my mom and I had a conversation about having sex (I was 15) and if I regret anything. She was and is just an amazing and supportive woman!
