Circumcision

so my fiance and I have done the research and weighed our options and we've decided to get our son circumcised. I have an appointment in two weeks and plan on asking my ob all of the questions I have but figured you ladies may be able to give me some insight between now and then! I'm a first time mommy so very new at this, I was wondering how the process goes and how much it costs. Does your ob do the procedure or will his pediatrician? also the peds office told me to call once I have him & they'll set me up with a doctor.. so if the ped does it how does that work? how long after he's born will they wait to do it? I've asked around but received so many mixed answers. Thanks in advance!
