Pads that are frozen?

Has anyone made these? What did u do? One week and 1 day pp. 3rd degree tear :/

I was going to make padsicles before going into labor to use when I came home but I just heard they make a huge mess when they thaw and melt so I opted against it. The hospital did give me a bunch of cold witch hazel pads (like tucks I think?) to put on top of my pads postpartum and that was very comforting for "down there" for me!

I made them but didn't use them. I too had a 3rd degree tear 😳 so painful.
But for the pads, I opened them up, and put witch hazel and aloe on the pad and then put them back in there  packaging and then put them in the freezer.

I made padsicles the day before I went into labor...
Buy overnight pads
Witch hazel
Aloe vera 
Lavender oil
I cleaned my counter, opened each pad individually and used a spoon to spread the aloe on the pad. Then I squirted witch hazel on the pad, esp in the middle of the pad. To make it less smelly, I put 2 drops of lavender oil on it. 
I put about 9 made pads into a zip lock bag and put it in my freezer. I used the padsicles religiously my first week PP, esp when I went to sleep at night. During the day, I would make the concoction the nurses taught me
Mamas bottom balm is really good for hemorrhoids. I got extra dermoplast from the hospital to take him.

I didn't use those but I did use the tucks pads in my undies and it helped a lot :) Having a tear is hard. If it makes you feel better, I had the worst one (Stage 4) and mine healed perfectly at 6 weeks and at 9 weeks we had sex and it didn't hurt, bleed nothing. No complications with sex, or urine loss or anything. Just make sure you eat super healthy and drink tons of liquids to help your body heal. 💕

Just stuff a newborn diaper with ice and wear that! It is easier and less messy. I also recommend sitz baths.  I had a lot of swelling and tearing and those warm baths were sooooo soothing!
