seriously....in the UK it's fact that morbidly obese children get placed into care and the parents have been charged with child neglect. it doesn't happen often but it has happened! YES allowing your child to over eat to the point of obesity is neglect!

Absolutely! It's my job as a mom to care for my child and that includes my daughters health.

Yes, just the same as a skinny malnourished child. The parents are supposed to teach them about healthy eating and help them maintain a healthy weight. 
Being a little chubby is nothing bad but being fat or obese or underweight is.

I know some people associate food with love, but just because your child is being fed doesn't mean they're being cared for. I think when you really care about your childs well being you monitor what they eat and try to always include something healthy as a main dish.
