Do it when you both are ready and don't do it with the gun it takes longer to heal and if you can do hoops the are easier to clean because you don't have to flip the babies ear and cause more discomfort

I got my ears pierced at 7 or 8. I didn't cry, it wasn't awful. I kept them clean, they didn't get infected. I decided to get second holes pierced when I was 11 or so. While I don't necessarily judge, I don't understand why everyone says they want to pierce eats young, so baby doesn't remember the pain. It wasn't that bad. But please go to a tattoo shop. They use pre-sterilized, ome-use piercing needles that are super sharp, and risk of infection is much less.

I had to Repierce my daughters ears when she was 5. The earrings she had when she was a newborn fell out after a year and the hole closed. We took her to Clair's and she cried a lot it hurt me to see her in pain. We took her to build a bear right after and she was much better.

If you do pierce your little girl's ears please don't go to Walmart or Claire's. 
Go to your pediatrician or a reputable tattoo parlor. 
I plan to wait for my daughter to ask me for piercings in her ears because that's what my mom did with me. Honestly, I hated that she did that because I was scared to go through the pain when I was little. So who knows, I may change my mind and punch holes in my little girl's ears. That is if I get a little girl. 🤞🏻🎀
