So my mom, step mom, and my moms best friend (pretty much another mom to me) are throwing my baby shower for me in October. I made an event for it on Facebook and made them all co hosts blah blah blah. Well my mom is literally my best friend and I'm her oldest so she really wants to take the reigns on this for the most part. However, I do have some decorations and food ideas that I want and would like to do for the most part. My mom, step mom, and boyfriend think it's weird that I want to help tho. I'm not super picky or anything, I've just been planning my shower since I found out I was pregnant (I'm almost 6 months), and really want to contribute, and I also would just feel bad having everyone do so much for me without letting me help. I would feel incredibly awful making my sickly mom (she's had 5 back surgeries and a 6th is scheduled for after the shower) do all this mostly alone. She's pretty much raising my little sisters kid and can barely walk or stand up. Am I being crazy for wanting to help or do you ladies think I should back off? Be completely honest, it won't hurt my feelings! 😊
