I had a natural unmediated birth. I had a small tear that didn't require stitches. I was a bit sore and had some bleeding for the first few weeks but totally healed by 3 weeks pp.

I had an emergent c-section a month early due to HELLP Syndrome and Preeclampsia. My son was in NICU for fluid in his lungs and air outside of his lungs, breathing difficulties and a nor resolved heart condition. First 24's I was in recovery and couldn't walk and wasn't allowed to because of my severe condition. After that I was in a wheel for half a day, after that I walked or should i say hobbled from L&D; to NICU to nurse my son. (I never took a narcotic post csection in the hospital or out of the hospital... I never taken a single drug other than Advil and Tylenol in my life.) I'm a strong woman and have an incredibly high pain tolerance. I would talk across the hospital every 2hrs for feedings for 5days. Each day was easier. By the time I left 6days later I felt fine. My son only stayed one extra night past my 7day stay. I didn't like laughing, coughing, sneezing or trying to go to the bathroom since it was pull my stomach muscles tight and felt uncomfortable. But in all my recovery was easy and I did it without Medicine for pain. 
Sooo with that being said... EVERY woman is different. Throw the birth plan out the window and just pray for the best. Each woman will recover differently based upon condition, pain tolerance, and ability to bounce back.

After about I month I felt "normal" but it took seven months to fully recover and even then I still have some pain from tearing they couldn't stitch. I had a really difficult birth and my baby's head was very big.

I had quite a smooth labour, the entire labour from start to finish was about 10 hours. Had a small tear it didn't need any stitches but hurt when I pee'd at first and bled for about 5-6 weeks

I had a episiotomy and suction with my first and my healing was terrible it seemed to take forever down there 😖 with my second I had a tear but the healing was so fast! Only thing is the more kids you have the worse the afterpains in your belly I didn't know what hit me when they started after my second I ended up back on the birthing ball 😂 I can't remember them with my first

Emergency csection, was a blur the 1st day bc my daughter was rushed off with breathing issues. I was in pain up until 10 days but felt fine after that. Bled for 5 weeks.

It was a very quick recovery. I had a fairly easy, natural delivery with no complications. I was walking around with not much pain at all the very day I gave birth. Bled for about 5 weeks. I got my period back very quickly, too.

Emergency c-section due to severe cholastasis and pre-eclampsia whic i turnt eclampsia. 12 weeks after i bled for and scar didnt  close for nearly three weeks. I had stitches out 20th day. This was my recent sons birth hes nearly 7.5mths old. I still have issues with the scar i was literally cut hip to hip yet he was a small baby.
