Anyone's husband deployed during the birth of their baby?

I'm terrified my husband will be deployed during our little girls birth! I was hoping someone would be able to tell me what it was like?

I'm due in 3 weeks. My husband has been home for all births except this one. He will get to come home after baby is born for a week or so but will have to leave again and won't be back until she is 5 months old. We just got to our new duty station so I haven't made a lot of friends yet and my family is far so I will be giving birth alone which is scary.

I haven't dealt with it yet but I was told they come home 2 weeks before your due date. also, I know of someone who's baby came 3 weeks early so as soon as her husband found out and got it cleared with his superior he was on his way home. but she had the baby so fast he was there the same day but after the baby was born.

It's hard. Mine left when I was in my 1st trimester and missed everything. Have someone you trust be with you and go to appointments. Your tough you got this
