Death

I've dealt with lots of deaths in my short 23yrs of life.Ive lost two childhood best friends,grandparents,my father in law (which was very tragic),and my child's god dad.Its hard for me to cope lots of times but it's even harder when you have a kid involved.So my question is,have any of you had to explain death to a very young child? How can you make it easier to understand?My son is 3,I never thought I'd have to explain it at that young of an age.He keeps asking can he go see his papa,where he's at,etc.Ive told him Papa is in heaven with the angels and we'll see him again one day but he's just too young to understand I guess 😭 I'm not even sure what group to post this in so sorry if it's not in the right one.
