To early?

I'm around 5 weeks pregnant and I just want everyone to know. Do you think it's ok to tell people now or wait till 12 weeks. Would love everyone's opinion 😄

As soon as i found out at 6 weeks i made an announcement that same day for my closest family  and am goin to tell everyone else today with an easter announcement!!

I couldn't be bothered with the whole 12 week thing, that the first third of your pregnancy!, told my family and close friends almost straight away, only people I waited to 12 week scan to tell was work.. If you're excited, tell em! :)

I'm actually gonna tell my family tomorrow and I'm 5 weeks exactly so that's one month down and I believe now that it's gonna be okay whatever you're comfortable with best wishes, God Bless

I found out a few days ago I am  4 weeks pregnant after trying for a while. We have told very close family. I will not be telling anyone else until after the first scan. I want to get to the safe zone and then I'll tell other family and friends. I don't want to announce it to everyone in case something was to happen and I'll have to tell everyone x

I told close friends at about 8-9 weeks and then everyone else at 12 weeks. I think it's personal choice. I only told people at 8-9 weeks if I would have confided in them about a miscarriage.

I think women should start declaring that their baby will thrive past 12 weeks and stop living in fear..... I told my family the day I found out, and honestly I found that talking things out with people especially my sisters and my mom, helped me cope with first time pregnancy stress.

I told them at 12 weeks because i did not want my mom to have stress because i bleed every day. But i know that in case it will/would go wrong i want her support! Xxx

I've got mixed feelings on this. On one hand I feel like pregnancy loss shouldn't be a taboo subject (because it happens. A lot) and not telling anyone until 12 weeks seems to be more for everyone else's benefit so they don't have to deal with 'difficult' feelings or provide additional support. On the other hand I don't want to go through any possible loss (I've had 1 stillbirth and 7 mc's) under the spotlight of how other people think I 'should' be thinking/feeling/reacting. All comes down to what feels right for you

Well I didn't wait to tell anyone and I was 3 weeks when I found out but I only told my family cause I was really scared and needed some support.
