Terrible cold at 7weeks?

I literally had a nap yesterday and woke up with a sore throat, cough, headache, achy bones...I feel like I got hit by a truck. I never, ever get sick. Is this a pregnancy thing? Who gets a cold in August? I'm 6w6d

Omg I have terrible sinus pain- and I don't want to take any meds. I'm miserable. Doing netipots every few hours but it only helps a little. My allergies were more intense the past few days and I heard that can happen. 
We will get through this!

When i was 5weeks along, I was ill with very high fever and bronchitis for a full week. It was in mid June, everyone else was out on the beach and I was in bed😒 Later i also got stuffy nose and cold sore on my lip (never had that before in my life).
Had a scan at 10w3d, baby was fine.
Now when I think back, I've gotten ill every time I've gotten pregnant. It really runs down the immune system.

Pregnancy can definitely lower the immune system. There was actually a study that came out recently that said that mothers of girls are more likely to become sick during their pregnancy. 
I got really sick at nine weeks and I was miserable because I could barely take anything. I was taking hot steamy showers every half hour I feel like. I never got sick again, luckily, and I'm 31 weeks now with a little girl👶🏻
