WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!! So frustrated !

I can't do this anymore . Both my close friends announced they are expecting. Both are older than me. AF showed today. On cycle 9 of NOTHING! We both have been checked and are fine. Why the hell can't we get pregnant ?!?!!? I give up!!

It's so easy to give up when you've been trying and it's what you want so badly. You find yourself thinking about it, day and night. Every little announcement on facebook/Twitter/WHATEVER hurts that little bit more. Each shower invitation is like a cruel taunting of the bully on the play ground, holding the toy you want above your delicate head.

It's easy to give up.

But, how many people have won a race when they stopped running? And how many people reached the summit when they stopped climbing?

Still, it's easy to give up.

But, you must not. While trying and trying seems sometimes in vain, the end result that can be achieved- holding a little person that is the likeness of you and your SO is worth the negative tests, the times trying, and the intense longing.

Things will happen. Maybe not in our time- because I would already be pregnant if it were my timing- but it will happen when it's time for it to. Until then, know you're not alone. There are others here that pray/wish/hope for you and for ourselves to all find our joys. ***hugs across the screen***

Amen to this. Both my brother and my husbands brother and their wives are pregnant with #2 - and their kids will be 23-25 months apart. We've been TTC for 3 years and are watching everyone else fart and get pregnant! Or so it seems...

I regretfully feel your pain. Everywhere I turn, people are turning up (accidentally) pregnant and Dan and I have been trying for so long. AF visited me on Thursday. I was so hopeful. There are others like you; don't give up hope, but try to take care of yourself by reducing stress at whatever cost.

I feel the same way! It also seems like people do it once or2x and boom .. They are preggo. Also so many teens are getting pregnant nowadays but why can't i ?!! Soo frustrating just thinking about it..

Ashlie, take a deep breath, the more stressed you are the less likely a bouncing jr. Or a baby princess will happen. I know it's frustrating but think positive and don't give up completely

I understand too - cycle 17 now and 2 mc later. Another pregnancy announcement on facebook that gets me down. I can't give up hope yet - not without feeling I have tried everything to make it happen.

It's rubbish when you see announcements, bumps and babe's all around and you desperately want that excitement for yourself.

Try and stay positive but it's also ok to feel negative too, just to not let those feelings dominate, I guess.

We are all here to have a good vent too if you feel you can't do it in 'real life' x

In the same boat. It seems to be so easy for so many of my friends. I feel like they hardly had to try. It's only been 4 failed months and I'm already so tired of this process. I feel like we will be in it for the long haul.
