Industrial piercing help

I got this piercing in April of this year and I know it could take up to 6 months to heal, so I'm only alittle over half way there. But I have this bump on it and I'm concerned. My best friend, who is studying to be a nurse and who's opinion I trust, told me without looking at it in person she says it could be a keloid or hypertrophic scarring. Keloids are very hard to clear up and sometimes even require surgery, and hypertrophic scarring is easier to clear up. This has now grown any bigger, it has just stayed the same general size, which has lead me to believe it's not a keloid. But I'd still like opinions!

I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten this piercing before and has had this problem. I'd appreciate any feedback on how to clear this up.
