Femara with possible estrogen dominance?

CD 8 of my first cycle of Femara. Anyone have any info on if it helps with possible estrogen dominance  issue? Officially, my infertility is  unexplained. I remember reading somewhere femara isn't as successful for those whose infertility is unexplained? (Don't get why exactly?) I do have several  (but not all) symptoms of estrogen dominance and just wondering if the way femara works helps counteract the excess estrogen?

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor, it suppresses ovarian estradiol secretion, which leads to increased FSH, stimulates follicular development and then as the effects diminish it increases estradiol production. The dominant follicle grows, estrogen increases, FSH decreases, smaller follicles go away, and monofollicular ovulation occurs in most cases. It is preferred Over clomid for this reason.
