What would you have done? I would have kicked them out mid proposal and cut ties then and there.
Like why would you think Midway through your best friends vows was an appropriate time to do something like that? You'd be sure you'd be getting a $40k bill in the mail. I'd get a lawyer involved for that. Seems like the kind of person who would interrupt his kids birthday to announce a pregnancy.
