When to tell Family

At what week did you ladies tell family? My husband and I are trying to decide when to tell our parents and siblings about the coming addition!

We told immediate family at 4 weeks and 5 days the day we found out ... I'm 10 weeks now and we have told some close friends but are waiting a few more weeks to tell other people.

We told our families between 4-5 weeks. I know I was super early but they all knew we were TTC and I told anyone I would turn to in the event of a miscarriage. All our siblings, parents, grandparents, and very few close friends know. 11 weeks today and social media announcement planned for 13 weeks

I was a little over 4 weeks when I found out. We told all our close relatives immediately! We were too excited to wait. We just announced it publicly to everyone else yesterday (10 weeks) 😊

I told my mom the second a second line popped up on my test. Told my brother two days later when it was a darker line. My fiancée told his family the same day I told my brother. :) waiting until our first appointment before we tell the world of Facebook and what not

i told my family at 7 weeks when i was extremely nauseous and cranky i couldnt stop myself  ( although so was upset that he wasn't there) and his family at 11 weeks.

We're planning to tell family at 10 weeks. I'm having a hard time waiting but we're doing it in conjunction with my son's 4th birthday so it would ruin my fun announcement idea if we tell early.
