Twins?

I'm almost 5 weeks and I took a test almost 4 days ago and the test line was WAY darker than the control line and I know exactly when I ovulated and conceived. I also have lots of twins in my family. My appointment isn't until I'm 8 weeks so I just want opinions :)

Could be but isn't a given. My doctor thought I was having twins because my hcg was really high early on but I'm pregnant with one baby. I also took a test and my line was darker than the control line (this was at 4wks exactly). So again, it's possible but not for sure.

Mine looked like this and I have a singleton.

Could be! Or you could just have a higher resting hcg level (like 5) so it doubles quicker than others who have a resting hcg of, say, 1.
