I had a c section with my first baby due to preeclampsia. During the surgery I was in a panic because I was numb from the neck down unable to move my arms, in recovery I was not able to hold my son for a while because of it. Is this normal ? Or did they not numb me correctly ? Or was it because I still had the effects of the epidural and when they numbed me again for surgery it was to much meds ? I'm going to ask my dr because I am pregnant again and she said I had to have another c section. What where your experiences with being numb ?
