Cavity while pregnant?

I've had bleeding gums badly throughout my pregnancy but that's all. I never had dental issues in the past so I didn't think much of it. I just looked and my two upper rear teeth have black decay along the gum line! How dangerous is this? Can I get a filling safely while pregnant? Could this hurt baby?

It might not be a cavity I had alot of that along my gum line while pregnant with my first and while I did have two cavities none were located where I thought. They told me it was just tartar and buildup and such. All was gone after a cleaning and my gums that bleed alot during that pregnancy went back to normal shortly after I had my baby. Filling cavities can be safely done while pregnant...usually hardest near the end because you cant lay on your back for long. Try not to worry too much and just get checked out....might not be as bad as you expect.

I had a lot of teeth issues while pregnant. The only major differences at dentist was no laughing gas while pregnant and they double coat your belly if you need an X-ray.
