Breast pump to hospital?

Do you pack breast pump when headed to the hospital or is that an item that is unneeded till after your supply comes in..?

The hospital will provide one if needed you don't have to lug yours with you.

I did not bring ours. My girl friend's baby couldn't latch so they tried to pump but used an industrial one to help the supply come in (it didn't). So I don't feel it is necessary but if you feel better taking it, then do so. Or just ask your doc if your hospital has them available.

Breast pumps arnt really recommended until at least three days when your milk comes in. Hand expression is the best when you've got colostrum. X
