O negative blood.!?!

So two weeks ago I got my blood work back and I have o negative blood. Of course I go to google and look up what the hell this means for me and my little baby. My OB just said I have to get blood drawn at 28 weeks I believe. I'm just worried about complications when I give birth.😞 anyone else with this problem?

I'm O- and had to get the rhogram shot while in the hospital and I believe I'll get another one after I give birth. It has something to do with your blood and babys blood! That shot was not all that wonderful but it wasn't the worst thing ever!

This isn't a problem I promise. If you are negative and your partner is positive, then there's a chance the baby will be positive. With your first baby there's no issue at all. But you have to get a shot so that your body won't attack the fetus in a future pregnancy. Little shot in the hip. Super easy. And there is no risk of complications. Negative blood type women give birth every day.

I found out I was O- as well. I am concerned as I don't do well with needles to begin with. Just my luck. :(

Just got mine yesterday! No biggie. It protects the baby from your blood trying to fight the baby off as if it were an infection or virus in case your baby is a positive type and your blood mixes on the rare chance. My last baby was negative so I didn't get another shot till this pregnancy. Try not to worry it's all precautionary measures ;-)

You need a rhogram/ anti d shot at 28 weeks and also if you have any bumps to your belly too incase baby's dad's blood type .... Google rhesus negative blood and pregnancy x

You'll have to get a shot called Rhogam. Because like me. I have O- blood which means I have Rh- antibodys. And the first baby is always fine and healthy. But after you have the baby and your Rh- you need the shot in order to carry another child again if your child is a positive blood type.
