so I recently watched the movie 37 and after watching the movie I looked it up and it's based on the real life murder of Kitty Genovese who was stabbed and raped. apparently a bunch of people witnessed the murder but didn't do anything. watching the movie reminds me that I don't want to be or like being the kind of person that just tries to ignore what's going on or is just a bystander. but it's hard and I feel like I'm too weak to do anything and calling the police isn't as easy as it seems. I just wanted to know how people on here handle situations like that. what do you do in a situation like that? apparently the police were called but didn't come to the scene until I guess it was to late.
