Dry scalp?

Anyone else dealing with crazy dry/flakey scalp since getting pregnant? I never have issues and right now it's awful! I've been using head & shoulders, rubbing coconut oil at my roots, nothing helps :( it's so gross and embarrassing to have white flakes on my clothes. I saw this is an early preg symptom for like 20% of women, anyone here? Any great solutions?

I don't have this symptom.... But I have used this for a while... I use coconut oil and melt it down then add some lavender and Rosemary essential oils and then pour it into my hair and massage and let sit for about 10 minutes!!!! I love it and it makes my hair super soft!!!!!

Also due in Nov. and dealing with a seriously itchy scalp! I feel like I'm just constantly scratching. My hair feels like it's more oily or gets dirty way faster. No solutions from me yet but update if you find a remedy!

And I'm a hairstylist of 20 years. You'd think I'd be capable of handling this issue but I'm suffering as well.

I CAN tell you that during my last pregnancy, I switched to a product in which I believe to be one of the greatest and healthiest products on the market and I WILL be purchasing more this week!

Head and shoulders doesn't work! I've had several stylists tell me that. Coconut oil seems to be the best thing to use.

I tried a little bit different last night: I dry brushed my scalp with my body brush (those soft bristle kind) and got lots of the flaky bits. Then I melted coconut oil and poured in on, and massaged it in really well for a few minutes. In the shower I sudsed up the head & shoulders and let it sit for about five minutes before rinsing, and then I massaged conditioner onto my scalp (which I normally don't do because I find my hair gets greasy faster). It looks really good today, hopefully this system works. I'll update! I think maybe I'll have to wash my hair more often to I can use the oil more (I'm usually a twice a week washer because my red color is hard to keep).
