When will my period start?

I'm 13 and my period hasnt started yet. The thing is, I've been getting vaginal discharge for the past year. Doesn't your first period start after you get some discharge? I've checked websites and they say your period starts after 2-3 months of discharge. Maybe I'm getting it confused with something else? And what does a period cramp feel like?

Idk if I had any discharge, I don't think I did. I had bad headaches and stomachaches a few years before. In my case, that may have been due to being bullied constantly. But your period is set to start any day now. Wear a pantiliner and make sure to keep at least one extra pad with you. Make sure it's a higher absorbency, moderate/medium or higher. And keep dark chocolate handy. All. The. Time. Keeps bad moods away and helps with pain.

Would should start your period soon. I had just turned 13 when I got mine. A period cramp to me feels like a sort of sore pressure in my lower abdomen. For me my cramps are absolutely horrible and I'm constantly taking pills for it. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the same will happen to you.

I've had discharge for YEARS before I got my first period. Kept waiting for it to come, but it never did until BAM! Underwear in sink because I don't know what else to do with it. You'll get it soon, even if soon means months.

there's nothing for u to do but to wait. it's ok to have discharges for like X amount of days before ur first period. so don't worry, nothing's wrong down there; ur body is just getting prepared. and period cramps aren't super bad, u just feel as if u have an urge to go number 2. my mum says if u exercise more, cramps won't be a big deal maybe.. but anyways, don't worry!! just wait a little longer and someday ur body will surprise u:)
