Hi everyone! I have my very first appointment on the 25th at which time I will be 6 weeks and 5 days roughly. This is my first pregnancy and I am not high risk, what can I expect? I asked when I would see the first ultrasound and the receptionist said 12 weeks (I was trying to hold back tears I wanted to know my nugget was safe sooner than that) other than me being a big baby what do they do for the first appointment and do they check for a heartbeat typically sooner than 12 weeks? I'm done googling it makes me an anxious mess
