Is Jaylyn a boy or girl name?

I've told some people the name of my baby and they tell me that Jaylyn is a boy name. But I don't think it is because who would put LYN in a boys name. I guess if it was spelled different then it could act as a boys name but when I see how I spell it, I feel it's more of a girls name

I have a brother in law named Lynn, so I'm not sure why you think spelling with a y makes it a girl name.  I like your spelling and think it's a nice name for either a boy or girl, plus it's your baby, choose whatever name you like!
