Insurance vs Fertility Treatment

My health insurance doesn't cover any fertility treatments. I'm 38 1/2 ttc for 6 mo. Af due 8/22. Any suggestions or thoughts on what I could talk to my obgyn about regarding not conceiving so far 🤞🏼 and what test she could do for me before referring me to seek other fertility treatment that I would be 100% liable for. I'm afraid maybe I may have endometriosis from an emergency surgery I had 13 years ago when the doctor removed 1 ovarie n 1 Fallopian tube.🙇🏻‍♀️😩
