& I must say, I just DON’T understand why in the hell people are upset about these statutes being removed or torn down. These people were MONSTERS!

Case in point, the “Father of gynecology” J. Marion Simmons. Omg! WHY is he the father of modern gynecology? If you don’t know what he did, or who he is - I urge you to research him.

If he deserves a monument, where is Josef Mengeles? We use his research in modern medicine today.

What’s the difference? Maybe I’m missing something here, I doubt it. But I definitely need/want to know what the difference was/is.
