Any C-Section Tips, Advice, or Help?

I'm having a c-section Wednesday and am very nervous. I have a 2.5 year old toddler at home and want to make sure I am prepared and heal quickly. Any tips, advice, or help from those warrior mama's who have already gone under the knife? Thanks in advance.

Wear a stomach wrap, keep up on the pain meds, don't try picking up more than the newborn, walk slow when they let you. Keep it dry

My only advice is to take it easy, don't over do it and accept any help that is offered to you. I have only had one c-section. But will be having a second with my next baby and have a 2 year old. I'll see if my same advice stands then!

Just had my 2nd c section on Friday. Keep on schedule for pain meds, walk around as soon as possible, and wear the belly binder the hospital provides. I bled a lot more vaginally this c section versus last c section and wish I had brought adult diapers to the hospital, so I recommend bringing those. Good luck.

Make sure you get up and move as soon as they let you!! The longer you lay in bed the weaker you are and the worse healing is. I wish I had gotten up sooner. Also. Take the pain meds on schedule. You don't want to be playing catch up with pain. Bring a bath robe and a dress. I wore the dress home and the bath robe in the hospital. So much easier on the incision than trying to wear pants
