I had three. none helped. all it did was bruise my cervix and made checking NY cervix during labor worse than my contractions. I didn't even cry when I was at 10cm and had the Max contractions plus pushing. but I cried and begged them not to check me because the cervix checks hurt so bad. my advice is don't do a membrane sweep more than once. i won't be letting one get done at all next time around.

I got one at 38 and 39 weeks and baby came a day before due date. Don't know if it helped but I'd do it again
