I am taking Metformin and if I'm not pregnant this month my doctor is putting me on Clomid. I had regular periods every month, but wasn't ovulating.

Start by going to your doctor.  Everyone with PCOS are different as we all don't have the same problems.  I have PCOS but I was told its positive despite all my symptoms that at least I do have regular periods.
You do have to start trying, logging your cycle and finding your fertile window.  Taking it on from there is to work with your doctor.

I would recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist. But for now or if you're looking to try other methods besides medication. Do a low carb diet or low glycemic index diet, avoid dairy and order ovasitol or myo inositol off the Internet to help loweee the testosterone in your blood and improve egg quality. I've been able to get a regular cycle taking metformin and myo inositol and watching what I eat.
