You need to be in a stable relationship 
Money?
Job?
Education?
Ruining your life?
Please teen moms tell me what it's like? Is it really as hard as people say? I have friends who have babies and they're doing amazing! So why is it such a bad choice?

well if your in highschool, havent graduated, dont have a job & have no money to your name.. just dont expect to move out of your moms or get a good career without working much much harder then youd ever have to work. dont expect to go out with your friends whenever u want and have a good time.. you no longer matter, your child means everything. you need a job, thats one thing. unless u have someone willing to support you and a child for the rest of your life, even if u do work dont expect to have any money for yourself unless your working crazy crazy hours.. you wilk most deff be working pay check to pay check . its just a really bad idea lmao im 20 pregnant with a job & i graduated and its still very very stressful, a baby is very expensive and time consuming.

So wanting a baby at 17, shouldnt have to be a big deal!! Its your life! We have been on our own since i was 15 and he was 17. Everything we have is from the hard work we put in together. I am honestly just the stay at home, clean, cook, all that good stuff type of woman.  My SO is the hard worker, he's the one who perfers me to stay home and get what needs to be done done. Yes, we have our house, car, money, and everything we need + more. So before you want a baby just make sure you think about how things will be, how things change. Things will get difficult and what not. God knows your time, when he knows your ready for it he will serve you. Until then dont listen to negativity because when i was your age i knew what it was like to not have anyone to talk to or esspecially people who dont understand and are just rude Good Luck! I got pregnant at 18 but I was graduated and living in my own place with my fiancé and I'm a stay at home mom (now I'm 19). My fiancé works in the oilfield so we make pretty decent money.

Your friends that are doing amazing... do they have good paying jobs or are they working towards their career? do they still live at home? They definitely have their own car, right? they take good care of their child? bringing a new life into this world runs deeper than "goals" and teen mom, and baby-fever. It's a serious commitment and many sacrifices will have to be made.

My mom had my older brother at 16. He was born PREMEE because he had a lot of complications because my mom was young. He has several operations and my mom got really sick too because of all the stress. Years later, I'm 21, my brothers 18 and 27. My dad and mom were young parents and to be honest, my mom stayed with my dad for a long time but my brothers and I had a troubled childhood because they were so young and were still learning to be adults. My parents sre divorced now, still love each other but to be honest it wasn't worth my brothers and my pain growing up. Please wait. I'm not saying this to be judgemental believe me, but I promise you that your life at 17 is just starting and the people you know now, the guy your with and the things you like will be totally different as you grow into adulthood. Having a baby intentionally at such a young age is a a big risk for both of you.
Please, get to a place where you can care for yourself and baby without the help of anyone else. Get your education as that is the key to earning what you want in life. I can inderstand wanting to be a young mom but think of it like this: if you go to college and get your bachelors degree you will be 21-22 when you finish and can have a career that pays well so you can be the best mom and not struggle. 
Please, hold off for now, I promise you that in 5 years you will be glad you did

i gotbpregnant at 17. i am still with the father. he eventually got a good job. but it takes a bit of a toll when youre that young and dont get to experience what you want to. plus you have a risk for preclampsia and post partjm depression. top of everything else your at risk of. theres nothing wrong with wanting children but try to sobthe things youd like to before. so if there is any risk you can focus all your time on the baby

Having a baby isn’t just for fun. It’s ALOT of work. It’s also very expensive. Aside from that even if you’re “financially ready” it can take a massive toll on your mental wellbeing. You also have to think about the fact that once you bring a child into the world, it’s no longer about you and what you want. It’s about them and what they need. You have to be prepared to make those sacrifices. It’s not a game, you don’t have a baby and play house. You are actually responsible for another human being. I’m not trying to be mean I’m being honest. You’ll be utterly exhausted.
