If it bothers you, you need to directly bring it up with him. Leaving without discussing the problem is immature in my opinion. But so is pressuring someone to say/do things that really matter before they're ready/feel them.

I have never understood why people think their SO HAS to say the L word before they are ready to. You havent even been together for a year yet. He could care about you a lot and still not be IN love with you yet. Either give him time to be ready to say it himself or talk that Talk with him.

You need to tell him how you feel... the way relationships work is getting all your feelings out on the table, even if you have a big fight that can be good because when we're angry we usually spill our guts about what's bothering us...

Talk to him. Maybe he's not there just yet. Obviously he has strong feelings and cares or he wouldn't be with you for as long has you have. It took over a year before my boyfriend told me he loved me, and I already told him I loved him like months before. He's just not an affectionate person, and he wasn't just at that point yet.

Not every relationship a person gets into, no matter how long/short it's been, means that they will love the other person. Not even if the other person loves them. And then some people take longer to feel love for another person, than others might. But unfortunately, he doesn't have to love you just because you love him or that y'all have been together for a year. That's not how real feelings work. But you do deserve to know how he truly feels.
