When did you tell your husband about your BFP?

Did anyone wait to tell their husband that they were pregnant until after the first doctor's visit or ultrasound to confirm pregnancy? Recently had a miscarriage (before first doctor visit) and just don't want to take husband through emotions again before confirming with the doctor. *not currently prego, asking for future reference*

I would tell him whenever you know. God forbid anything happens, but if you're going through any emotions, he should be at least aware to support you and he deserves to be allowed any feelings that come along with pregnancy as well.

I told him as soon as I found out. We had a miscarriage as well with our first, and as scary as it was I told him this time. I knew he would have been upset if I waited to tell him.
