Baby moving less then usual ?

Anyone at 37 weeks and baby moves less ? Like ALOT less ?  I've been going back and forth with myself since yesterday about calling my doctor because everyone is telling me that baby does move less at this time because she has little to no room ,however my doctor is always asking about movement . Since maybe Tuesday I've noticed a huge decrease in my little ones movement and it does bother me because she was active like a jumping jelly bean . I don't call call and they tell me to come in and it be nothing , my dr is almost an hr away from me an I don't wanna make that drive for nothing . Anyone else have this same situation or similar or know something about it please share 🙏🏽

Call. The drive is worth it if there could even possibly be a problem.

Thanks ladies I def called and literally as soon as I went in LO started moving an rolling lol still went on monitoring just to make sure there's no struggle , but she is normal just squished lol thank you all so much !!! ❤️ and good luck I wish you all safe deliveries ITS ALMOST OVER 🤞🏽

My baby girl has had a decrease in movement as well. I'm 36 weeks. I don't get those big jabs like I used to but I do make a point to watch my belly and to focus on any rolling around or pushes. Usually even though I sometimes don't feel it I can see my belly moving around cause she's so pressed up against it. I always check for the 10 movements at least a couple times a day just to feel better.

The rule of thumb is 10 movements in two hours and to try drinking something sugary to stimulate baby. If you're not getting that movement, then definitely call!  OBs are used to calls like that, so no worries!

Same here. I would call just for peace of mind but just know it can be normal... my babe's movements have changed/decreased a ton and like other women have said, I have to sometimes really focus while sitting still to feel him. (37.6)

For peace of mind call your OB. Getting moving too and drink some cold water. Then settle in and lay down for a bit and the change from constant movement to stillness could also get your baby moving. I have also noticed a change in frequency and type of movement but agreed with the other women on here...just track the kicks you feel in each two hour period. Hang in there!

My baby has been the same. In the last 2 weeks or so it takes him a bit to get moving in the morning and isn't as active in the night. It's worth the call but I think it's pretty common

My baby has been doing this for a couple weeks now. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. He has days where he won't move hardly at all and others, like today that he's always awake it seems. I always check his heartbeat the days he's less active.

I would definitely call. Wouldn't you rather it be nothing than something anyways?? They will probably want you to come In and get monitored but I personally would rather make the drive out there and get monitored than potentially have something be wrong.
