I've done this twice before but ever since reading an article about a young lady who died from an amniotic embolism and then having a friend lose a friend in childbirth a few months ago I am freaking out!! My other two births were fine in the grand scheme of things but this time I have a few risk factors for amniotic embolism. I'm freaking because there is nothing they can do to prevent it and most people with it don't survive. I'm seriously scared I won't get a chance to be with my baby once she is here. I know it's probably hormones making me nuts and I have a tendency to be a hypochondriac. Anyone else?
