Breastfeeding while pregnant?!

Hi ladies! I am 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant with Baby #3! I am currently still breastfeeding my 18 month old son. I had planned to just let him wean himself but, now I found out I am pregnant! Any other moms breastfeed through pregnancy, or weaned before the new baby arrived? I need advice, encouragement, anything! Thank you ladies💕

I'm currently 7+4 and breastfeeding my 18 month old! I have no plans to wean and will tandem nurse if my daughter doesn't wean herself through my pregnancy. Breastfeeding doesn't cause preterm labor or miscarriage.. the uterine contractions are not that serious. My ob told me with my first that 9/10 miscarriages are 'destined' to happen. The mass majority of the time there is nothing a mother could do or not do to prevent these. It's so hard to think about but sometimes things just aren't happening like they should. People saying breastfeeding increases those risks is really dramatic in my opinion.

It's perfectly safe to breastfeed threw pregnancy!! I'm still feeding my almost 16 month old and talked to my mum about it (she's a midwife) breastfeeding does not increase chances of miscarriage or early labor. It actually has benefits such as easing morning sickness due to the happy hormones you get from breastfeeding. This is my 5th pregnancy (3 mc and my toddler) and the only pregnancy I haven't been extremely sick with! I was planning to wean my daughter but i won't because she's not ready. I'll wait until a month before birth since she will be almost 2 then. A lot of baby's wean themselves during pregnancy tho when the milk changes to colostrum they don't like the taste.

I personally cannot breastfeed pregnant. I had an early miscarriage last year because my body can't handle it- but I have other issues and health concerns, so it's totally not typical. Most women have no problem and I would just discuss with your Dr. 
As soon as I found out I was pregnant this time, I weaned my daughter who was down to one feeding anyway- she's 23 months, so it was due time. I've wanted to wean since a year... but I wanted her to self wean and she just never did. 
We weren't trying for another but weren't preventing either.

I have read you should not pump or breastfeed during pregnancy due to causing preterm labor. It makes the uterus contract.

My doctor recommended to stop breastfeeding while pregnant since "nobody wants the uterus to contract in early pregnancy " so I stopped as soon as I knew.
