I chose a D&C; for my missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and it was a great decision for me. Of course, everyone if different and it's a very personal choice, but the closure I felt was such an immense relief and let me clear my head to restart my conception journey. The recovery for me was quite easy, I was able to work from home the day after the procedure and was back in work after that. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant again. I'm so very sorry you're going through this. When I had a MMC I discovered at 8weeks that I baby had not continued to progress much past the 5 week mark. 
I found it so hard to believe that my baby was no longer there because of continuing symptoms. 
 I decided to have a natural miscarriage so that I would know for sure.
It took two weeks past my scan for my miscarriage to actually begin and then I bleed for about ten days in total. It was definitely the best decision for me so that I could come to terms with my pregnancy ending at a slower pace that I felt gave me more emotional closure. May 22 17 went it for a ultrasound couldn't remember when my last period was but the ultrasound tech said the sack was looking like 7 weeks but baby hadn't progressed past 5 weeks. They had me schedule another ultrasound for a week later and I just couldn't do it. I was so heartbroken and numb. The next day started having cramps with no bleeding but I just go not handle going through a natural miscarriage and I had a d&c; the next day. I had so much closer and could move on easier.

I did the medicine but ended up having to get a d&c; anyways . Also have had a natural miscarriage as well and I 100% would opt for a d&c; again. Quick, no recovery time hardly and relief of getting it over with and moving on

I had a missed miscarriage, I was 11+5 when I found out my baby had stopped growing at 9+5. I was advised to go with a D&C; simply because at the time, I lived an hour away from doctors/hospitals and I was told if I continued to wait for my body to have a miscarriage in its own time, I was risking hemorrhaging since it had already been two weeks and my body still hadn't actually done anything.  It felt right because it was October 28th, and I had a 1 year old I wanted to take to day time toddler events for Halloween.. I knew it would allow me some time to recover, and I also didn't have the stress of what if my miscarriage happened while I was out with my daughter...  waiting meant I would always be on alert for my body to suddenly go through the miscarriage. The D&C; was heartbreaking, it really was, but it allowed me to care for myself while I continued to take care of my daughter.

I did the D&C.; Would I do it again 🤷🏼‍♀️ my dr told me it could take months to pass naturally and there could be complications. The D&C; was super quick and easy. It's a tough choice tho.

I had a second opinion from a different Dr and told me the same thing. So then I got the D&C; done just because I wanted to start out fresh and made sure my miscarriage was out completely. & boom 💥 I got pregnant 🤰🏼. Good luck

I lost the heart beat at 6 weeks and had a D&C; at 9 weeks and for me it was the beat decision, this is was is march and now I am 14 weeks pregnant, also when I got pregnant again, my Dr,

I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. Went to the doctor and there was no heartbeat. Went back a week later and there was still no heartbeat. Baby didn't grow past 6-7 weeks. I went for a d&c.; I felt that I just needed it over to move on.  It's totally a personal choice.

I always ended up miscarrying before I ever made it to my first doctor appointment so it was on my own.
