38 weeks... Castro oil?!?!

has anyone taken Castro oil to induce labor? How much are u suppose to take? what was your experience with it? I just don't want to take too much and have diarrhea when I'm actually pushing the baby out lol

It's not going to kill the baby, and meconium aspiration can happen with or without home induction methods. Also, 75% death rate from meconium aspiration is 100% FALSE. Please, take any advice from non professionals with a large grain of salt. 
That being said, what the midwives I work with have said in reference to castor oil specifically is that it works to give you the shits, but not necessarily to start labor. If you're using it to try to induce labor you need to take it with protein, not just on its own. For example, mix a couple tablespoons in scrambled eggs. 
I am not recommending that you do this, especially if you're not at 40 weeks yet. Just giving you the information from the professionals so you can do with it what you want. Wishing you a safe and healthy delivery, and remember that baby will come when baby is ready!!

I've never read anything of this method killing a baby. I have read it can just give you really bad cramps with no outcome. It doesn't work a lot but I wouldn't say no against it. Mention it to your dr maybe. Don't listen to what everyone on here has to say as they are not your dr. Sorry I couldn't be more of assistance. I'm actually going to be 38 weeks Sunday and was thinking of using it as well. I was hoping to get some more insight from your posts but it's nothing but negatives lol. Update if you do take it!

Why would you do that? It's 2 weeks before your due date. If your doctor is t worried than neither should you be. Wait for the little one to be ready.

Take 2-3 teaspoon every 3-4 hours . Walmart has a tasteless-ordoless one ! Make sure your active adter you takw it to make sure it works!

Castor oil only stimulates the digestive track mussels which is why some women end up having the whole diarrhea issue.  
And would be the reasons why it doesn't really work. 
The mussels apparently are the same that you will use during pushing during labor? So I guess if you are already in labor, then castor oil will work  in getting you stimulated and stuff.

THIS DID NOTHING FOR ME. My daughters father's cousin made me a drink and I wasn't allowed to see. It was half the damn bottle... (That was fun) seriously the only thing I got was to spend 2 hours in the bathroom throwing up.

I took 2 tablespoons full at 36 weeks as I was fed up but nothing happened apart from having loose stools and feeling sick for 8 hours.
Apparently it can work but only if your body is ready. I know you are fed up and keep trying different things but I think it will only give you something to focus on apart from being pregnant. 
I got induced yesterday as I've got high blood pressure, had a massive walk after and my waters broke but contractions were so intense and not inline with what my body wanted that I had to have drugs to calm them down. I'm now still in hospital waiting for the hormone drip to get the ball rolling again. So both the 'natural way' and 'chemical way' of inducing hasn't worked for me.
Good luck though hang in there and do with whatever you feel is right...
