Birth Control. I'm 25

I'm going to the doctor to get birth control for the first time and I'm extremely nervous. I've always been one of those people who wouldn't take anything to change their natural body functions but now I'm at the point in life where everything is a challenge and I can't afford to have a baby right now.

I want to know the pros and cons of Mirena and does it hurt going in? I have a low pain tolerance.
