Yeast infection because of a cold?

I have a sore throat/runny nose and all of the sudden I think I have a yeast infection. Maybe it's because of the cold medicine (alka-seltzer) I have been taking??

Taking medications that contain antibiotics can disturb your PH balance and cause a yeast infection. I had an infection develop from getting teeth pulled and was prescribed amoxicillin and another medication and developed a yeast infection a few days later. My doctor said it was completely normal. I've been using vagisil for the last 3 days and it's clearing up.
