is this weird?

So I have to have a repeat c section because the hospitals in my area won't do vbac. I had my first 5 years ago, and I was convinced by my doctor to have an elective cesarean because they thought my son was going to be huge. He wasn't, but that's a different story. I'm now 37 weeks with my rainbow baby, and I'm obsessed with the idea of going into labor before my scheduled delivery date. I've never experienced it before, and I just want to know that if given the chance, my body will do what it needs to. Is that normal? I know labor isn't fun or anything. I just want to say I've experienced it. I want to hear that my cervix had dilated. Then they can cut me open, fine.
