Birth Control

Looking for a possible new birth control. Currently on the patch which I like because I only have to worry about it once a week but dislike because I'm scared of getting pregnant and it begins to fall off after a few days & completely comes off if I take baths (yes I do put it on right). I need a birth control that really prevents pregnancy, doesn't completely take away your period (id be okay with not having it every month, but don't want it completely gone), and makes my periods not so heavy. That's the main reason why I'm on birth control but now that I am sexually active I want more prevention. I've always kinda of been against the implant & Miranda but am up to possibly try them. Any suggestions or experiences y'all can share??
