What a let down

I just found out I have PCOS, how hard is it to get pregnant when you have PCOS? 😕

It can be difficult to track ovulation or know if you are even ovulating at all. Sometimes it requires medication to force ovulation and I know a lot of people with PCOS that have fallen pregnant within their first few months on medication.

I have it, had to regulate my periods by being on birth control, but no other medications. With my first born in 2011, it was a complete shock bc My periods were all over. I'm now almost 33 weeks with my 2nd,  this one took almost a year to conceive after stopping the bc pill. I was always told I may never have children. This was years and years ago. There's no guarantee you won't and vice versa. You're not alone!

Don't bother doing opk's you'll see a positive/surge and not actually be ovulating. Diet change, meds and supplements will be your life. Meds depends on if your pcos is an insulin resistance or an androgen level problem.

It just depends. I have it and last time I ttc I got pregnant the first month. This time around seems to be taking longer though. AF due tomorrow and no BFP, still waiting. 2nd attempt. But I have a good friend who also has PCOS that struggled for years and ended up doing IUI before finally getting her rainbow baby and then she finally gave up on trying for another. 😢 So it just depends on you. Could be either or somewhere in between. Praying it's not a struggle for you 💙 Baby dust!

I don't ovulate due to my pcos so I've been sat around waiting 5 years for something to happen 😂😂

I have PCOS and got pregnant first try. PCOS often means fertility struggles but it's not a guarantee.
