whats wrong with my makeup?

hey girls my foundation and eyeliner always go patchy/cakey and smudges/transfers on my eyelid. and my skin looks textured with makeup. i use marc jacobs foundation and stellar eyeliner. i know these products get good reviews but im not sure what the problem is. i wear primer and set my makeup with powder. my wear time is typically around 8-10hrs. please give some advice ☺️

maybe put moisturizer before makeup ?!!

I used to have really cakey looking foundation.. turns out i needed to exfoliate.. so i bought a wet sponge to use when i wash my face.. ive seen dramatic difference.. that and moisturize!

Also try wet setting spray on top of powder 
I had that problem and change my foundation infallible matte 24/7 cream foundation and a spray instead of powder which seemed to help

I had that problem forever too, I just needed to take care of my skin better moisturize it and then primer of course and I started using a CC cream instead of foundation so it wasn't so thick. Also I use setting spray instead of setting powder seems to work alright! And for the eyeliner might just need a better eye primer? maybe draw a thinner line too!

Maybe it's your skin, exfoliate and moisturize and see if that makes a different.  Maybe a setting spray too. You can have all the high end products you want but if your skin isn't taken care of then what's the point🤷🏻‍♀️
