In the midst of induction.
I came in last night @ 10PM for induction.
(Had been 2cm dialated and 70% effaced for the past 4 weeks with no progress.)
By 11PM, I was started on pitocin.
For the first hour or two, I was like "I can totally do this. This is not nearly as bad as I anticipated..."
LOL
After 5 hours of working through the contractions with no pain management, I was DONE. The pain became unbearable, and I have a high pain tolerance.
I don't say this to scare anyone, the pitocin is effective. (We're almost 6cm dilated and fully effaced now.)
I finally got the epidural and just want to praise God! 🙌🏻 I'm still working through contractions every 1-2 minutes and having my cervix checked every hour but I don't feel a thing. I don't have any control over my legs which is really freaky but understand that it's totally normal and will regain function after an hour or two of delivery.
We're going on 11 hours of labor now and can't wait to meet our little dude. 😊🙏🏼👶🏻
