My mom is more impatient to meet my son more than me!

My mom has been so involved in this journey and I don't mind it. She's been buying stuff and helping us out since I was only 6 weeks. She's been to ultrasounds and she hosted my baby shower. She's even been helping me deep clean the house before the baby gets here (if he ever does..)

Yesterday I official hit overdue at 40+1 and she begged to go to my OB appt. I was like ew no (even though she'll be present at delivery 😂). There's only one chair and that's for my husband. Can you believe this lady said I'm going to sit in the waiting room 😂 I was like okay... it's not like I don't text or call you asap with the details.

I was still only a fingertip dilated and I texted her that before we even got back to the waiting room. All three of us were bummed. I go home, shower and she texts me to come to the mall with her to walk the baby out. We were there for 3 hours and she wouldn't let me sit down! She said to let gravity work on me. By the time she dropped me off at home I was dying, my legs hurt... 15 hours later and not a single contraction.

If I end up going into labor today I'm never going to hear the end of it being that mall walk 😂

And she had the nerve to tell me to go have sex after she dropped me off. I'm like hell no I just walked for 3 hours I can barely breathe. The only thing I'm hitting tonight is the hay!

I guess this is what is like to be pregnant and have your mom as your best friend and you can't say no to her 😭❤️
