Some advice on where to give birth?

I live in the uk, I have a choice of where to give birth I can either give birth in the hospital which has a theatre room at the end of the corridor and doctors and surgeons on hand when and if I need them, or I can take the more relaxed approach and have my baby in the birthing centre which is situated across the road from my home the only thing is with a birthing centre there are only midwives no doctors no surgeons and no epidural.. If there was anything to go wrong I would have to have a 15 minutes ambulance drive to the nearest hospital. My midwife is strongly advising me to have my baby at the birthing centre but I am so nervous I will have a traumatic birth experience and will have To get transferred like my cousin only 5 months ago.. I'm so confused? Does anyone have some advice on a similar situation? First time mamma so everything is so hard work to decide on 😂
