Early period

Hello,

So this is my first month ttc. I spotted 6 days after when I suspect I ovulated and then again yesterday. Today I had some red bleeding and I thought I was getting my period, even though this would be like 10 days early, so I put in a tampon. I removed it an hour and a half later and there was just a little old and new blood on it, not saturated. No more since then. I guess I'm wondering if abnormal periods are a normal thing when ttc? Mine are always 26 day cycles. Could that still have been implantation? Even with red blood? Thanks!
